The Elliptical Table
This featherweight table was my attempt to sculpt the wood into light and airy forms. A sliver of my own hand-dyed shibori 100% cotton defines the curves of the ellipse, anchoring the eye in this dynamic combination of shapes. Hand-turned aluminum thumbscrews secure the glass to the frame.
