Maple and Birch Credenza
In an effort to create a time- and materiels-efficient piece, I used birch plywood, an inexpensive and efficient use of lumber resources, wherever possible. The frame is solid maple. The negative space formed in the door fronts eliminates the need for drawer pulls and makes opening the piece foolproof yet intriguing. The result is a cost-effective piece sized for an entertainment system or a child's room.
